Jersey Joe Walcott vs Greg Page

    I've got Page knocking out Walcott purely because he has the better durability. Thoughts?

    I would go with the more consistent man in Walcott.

    I realize that neither was that consistent on paper, but at least when Walcott was inconsistent it was for a good reason.

    I doubt that Page was more durable as well.

    Again, a focused Greg could win this by late round knockout. But if that is not the case, then Jersey Joe by UD.

    I think that Walcott was a little bit better than the 80s alphabet champions, but he was also splitting series with men who were not better than them, even when he was doing his best work.

    So you can justify picking him over Page, or Dokes, or Thomas, but he can still get beaten by them.
