Will Walcott's style matchup with Frazier's smoking style, he fought off Marciano's non stop onslaught for 13 rds......Thoughts?

tough one to pick but if a ready Walcott goes into the ring with the knowledge that Joe could only beat him with the hook, he could negate Joe's pressure & left side power and JJW being a 2-fisted puncher could manage the fight into a victory....Walcott by UD, dropping JF 2X

Frazier knocks out Walcott in 8-9 rounds. Bad matchup for Walcott. Frazier would be all over him, thus negating Walcott's footwork/tricks.. Walcott could hit really hard, but not even to keep frazier off him the whole fight. Frazier had great head movement to slip Walcott's elegant jabs, and frazier has very fast hands.

Absolutely hideous stylistically for Walcott. Awful. Fastest pressure in HW history. I reckon he crumbles probably late on, 11 or 12.

Walcott gives him all sorts of hell. Possibly hurting frazier. Frazier wins by TKO in 12-13 rds.

Walcott will finally give way to the pressure as the pace will be to much. Frazier busted up and bleeding but keeps coming. Walcott will get caught ,and he will wear down until he is eating to many shots to continue.

Ref stops the fight with Walcott leading on the cards.

I think that the walcott left hook/uppercut works like a charm here. Many would be suprised at how easy Walcott would beat him.

Yes! Walcott lasted so long against Marciano because he was coping with steady pressure,Frazier's pace was much more frenetic , his hands and feet were faster too.

I agree with mcvey...Frazier's pressure was different than Marciano's....more frenetic. Joe liked to get in close and stay there all the while winging shots and bobbing up and down never giving an opponent a breather. Rocky's pressure was as steady as Joe's but slower, fighting out of a leaned over crouch. Walcott would have a harder time with the kind of fast pressure Frazier brought as Joe would be in Walcott's chest all night. In this scenario Frenetic trumps steady. Frazier by decision or mid to late round stoppage.

Pre-Foreman Joe Frazier was a special fighter. 29-0 (25) overall, 10-0 (8KOs) in HW World title fights, and 2-0 (1) vs. Hall of Famers Bob Foster (KO2) and Muhammad Ali (W15). He beat world champ Jimmy Ellis, KO4 and later on KO9. He beat Oscar Bonavena W10 (in his first real test) and W15 in their rematch. He also beat Eddie Machen KO10, Doug Jones KO6, George Chuvalo KO4, Buster Mathis KO11, Jerry Quarry KO7 and later on KO5, Terry Daniels KO4, and Ron Stander KO5. Post-Foreman he beat Joe Bugner W12.

Walcott had some good wins and some losses that are honestly considered as good if not better than some other fighters best wins. He went 2-2 vs. Ezzard Charles, he gave Joe Louis two tough fights (most people felt he beat Louis in their first fight), he gave Marciano a very tough time in their first fight. Let's be honest Walcott was hot and cold. He beat the likes of a green Elmer Ray KO3 but was stopped by Abe Simon LKOby6. He beat Joe Baksi W10 and Jimmy Bivins W10 but lost to Joey Maxim L10 and Elmer Ray L10 in a rematch. He came back and beat Maxim x2, W10 x2 and Ray again, W10. He stopped Harold Johnson, KO3 but lost to Rex Layne, L10. I can't see him beating Frazier.

Walcott may have had more one punch power than Frazier, I think he wind easy. Better boxer, strong, and faster, plus he could move. As for some of his losses, he fought so much and on such short notice at times, it was tough to always be 100%.
