I pick Walcott to win a decision. Jersey Joe would take full advantage of Norton's tendency to keep moving forward without throwing punches, especially in the opening rounds. I see Walcott winning rounds early and more than holding his own when Norton stepped up the pressure in the middle rounds. Norton may close the gap and make it close but I believe it would be Jersey Joe's hand raised at the end.

I think this is as good a match-up as any. I predict a close fight, an exciting fight. We'd see some good boxing, hard punches, both would get rocked and maybe even go down. I like Walcott by close decision.

walcott is a much harder fight for norton than charles, walcott had the punch to hurt norton. close fight... i will say walcott by stoppage or norton by decision

Walcott by decision...his sneaky, unorthodox cleverness and again...SNEAKY, hard shots would earn him a kd or two enroute to a decision win.

Norton on points. Walcott could always score the upset though.

I like JJW to either win a decision with a KD or 2 or Walcott times Ken and lands the bomb and another RSC......JJW was erratic at times but if he is on he shuffles and bangs his way to victory

I think that Jersey Joe would win a lop-sided decision, scoring a couple of knockdowns along the way. A KO is also possible. Jersey Joe would be too fast, smart, and tricky for Norton. Walcott could also hit. No contest, IMO.

I'll go with Norton via decision. To beat a prime Ken Norton you either had to be an elite puncher like a Foreman or an all time great boxer like an Ali.. Walcott was a jack of all trades but a master of none. Definitely a very good boxer who could crack, but didn't have enough of either to beat Ken.

I like Norton here. Walcott lost to fighters like Rex Layne and Abe Simon. Norton wins by kayo as Walcott had a questionable chin and was way smaller and lighter.
