No my bro... The question is ARE YOU TROLLING? AS MEDIOCRE WAS THE CHIN OF LEWIS STILL IT WAS WORLDS BETTER THAN WALCOTT'S. Lewis was better,50 pounds heavier, much taller And longer... Please...walcott is an easier target even with his singular style

Lewis had a much better chin than Jersey.

Didn't Walcott school Marciano, the guy Tua based his style on? (albeit a very poor version and ignoring the fact that the fight ended in a one punch Ko?)

If by schooling you mean going 0-2 (2) then yes he did.

There is a gulf in class when it comes to ring generalship and boxing ability no doubt, but Tua is a hell of a lot bigger and Walcott would have to be wide awake all night.

He could outbox Tua (most of Tua's better opponents did) but Tua can end the fight at any point if he lands right. A moment's lapse in concentration from Walcott and it could be all over.

He lost to Chris Byrd, who went on to fight at light heavyweight.

He lost to every single ranked opponent he ever faced, apart from the questionable Rahman win.

Walcott for his part practically cleaned out the top ten, and beat a whole myriad of murderous punchers.

Tua is definitely the underdog here.

I don't care in what weight class fought byrd in the past.he was a hw when he fought tua(walcott never ever was a hw) And he had wider shoulders And back than walcott. He was like moorer a guy with huge frame fighting at lhw. He could carry more weight than walcott And better. Also byrd was more durable han walcott And much faster And more elusive.
You constantly use the absurd argument "A did beat more ranked contenders in his era blabla" it is a h2h match not a competition about who is greater PFP.
    Tua would kill him literally

I have to seriously question this.

Walcott survived a whole series of murderous punchers.

Does Tua have a good chance against him, because Joe Louis stopped him with that combination that was a miracle of complexity?

    Not really.

Does he have a chance because Marciano stopped him with that sickening punch in the last rounds of the fight?

Only if he makes it that far, and is still seriously trying to win.

The only way that Walcott could have made 175lbs, at the age of 37, is if you cut one of his legs off.

Byrd was never anything more than a pumped up light heavyweight.

You could make a case for Byrd having a better chin, but he was not more elusive.

If Byrd can beat somebody, then a whole lot of smaller heavyweights of the past could.

Byrd just weighed under 200 pounds in 4 fights of his complete career.facts not Fantasyland. Byrd carried 215 perfectly. Walcott was over his own límit at 192. And byrd was absolutely more elusive And faster

If you bulk a light heavyweight up to 200lbs+, you don’t get a superheavyweight.

You just get a blown up light heavyweight.

Byrd deserved a pound for pound ranking for what he did at heavyweight!

Walcott was nearer the Holyfield body type.
