You swayed me, i was on the borderline but if you of all people go for Walcott i will get on him for sure.
I can see Walcott making Vitali look about as mobile as a wardrobe, and feinting him into knots, my problem is I'm finding it hard to see how many effective shots he will be able to land from distance, and once he closes the range can he do a Ray Leonard on a Tommy Hearns Vitali? Can he make quick sorties, quick flurries of punches then get out of danger before the bigger man has time to react? Walcott looked fine against Ten Hoff and Peter Wilson, who was ringside said that if he had pressed the fight it would have been a quick finish ,but given Vitali's excellent whiskers we have to assume JJW can only win by a dec. Vitali's power is a bit overated imo, but Walcott wasn't a Chuvalo in the chin department ,not as susceptibe as some like to make out ,[he fought plenty of bangers,] but he could be iced here.I'm not seeing a blow out like Galvatron and a few others do.Walcott would have his moments, as far as pure boxing goes he is Einstein to Vitali's upright, Euro style.I wouldn't actually be surprised whichever way this went.Walcott by dec, or Vitali by late tko.
Hmmmmm potentially. Adamek is probably the most comparable we'd have in terms of accomplishment. Is he listed as one of the best victories of Vitali? I dunno. Byrd was very competitive with Vitali but Vitali was injured so it's a tough call as to how relevant that fight is. Then again he injured himself missing punches so it's a conundrum.
The only thing that can sway you is good medication...you realize i was sarcastic right??? No ,you didnt...like i would think Walcott beats up somebody like V.klitchko...please go find your head.... ...jerk!
