Does this sound reasonable.? Style s making fights and Walcott the master of counter punching, elusive and just so damn hard to figure out. Almost defeating marciano proved a point that he could handle the strong, rugged younger guys to a large degree at a advanced age.
So how does a fully fit , prime Walcott fighting at the best of his ability do against a like wise Jeffries?

It sounds reasonable, but it may well not happen.

Jeffries used a systematic body attack to break down clever boxers, and by the end of his title reign he was getting pretty good at it.

It would be an interesting fight I think.

Could see Walcott outboxing anyone. He just can't get caught with a big shot.

I think it could have the making of a great fight. Their opposing style s would make it interesting. If we set it at 20 rounds, then I believe there is a danger that Walcott could be caught late on by Jeff, his chin could be unpredictable. But I think he could be there at the end with his hands raised. He has the ability and skills to do this. But a hard fight for both men imo.

Jeffries would need to land consistantly to the body to slow Joe down could he do it? Yes Would he? I doubt it.
Fifteen rounds I like Walcott.Twenty rounds? Still JJW but the odds shorten, imo
