An old Postol who didn't fight for almost two years.

I have nothing against Russell he just reminds of an Anthony Dirrell type of fighter a guy who was tough rugged but limited.

While the stoppage was ish, he hurt Postal. I've never seen Porter hurt anyone AT THE ELITE LEVEL. I just think that GAR is more than just a brawler, applying pressure doesn't make you Porter.

Maybe not, but Postol was straight up robbed against Ramirez in his last outing. His footwork was still decent, his jab and one two fairly sharp. But Russell was just too much for him. I don't thinK Postol looked all that bad or old. This is a solid win, albeit hampered by the horrid stoppage.

He may get off a plane if he can even get to Ukraine and get handed a gun to fight I am curious to know how he will get home with Russian jets in the skies

No doubt Russell's best win and postol didn't look shot but clearly faded. Postol is a good counter puncher and a few years ago he would have countered the hell outta Russell. I thought he did well tonight but looked better against Ramirez like you said.

Absolutely disgraceful stoppage. There wasn't long to go and Postol wasn't in any way shape or form in enough trouble to warrant stopping it. The first chance Postol was in a bit of trouble and the ref couldn't wave it off fast enough. WTF?!

Postol is obviously past his best but it was a good performance from GAR nonetheless. No way it should've been stopped though Postol deserved to see it to the finish, even more so given everything he's going through.

What were the odds for a Russell decision?

Yeah Poland is their closest ally so how he gets in will be the question...he has to avoid being snatched in route as well...any Ukrainian hero sports or otherwise is a high value capture in war

This is the upset I'm the most skittish in predicting. But Colbert looked terrible against and barely beat the last southpaw he faced in Corrales. He got hit a ridiculous amount against Arboleda, who doesn't cut the ring off very well. His power is underwhelming. Garcia was a solid amateur, he's big as hell, and hits like a Mack Truck. His straight left is savage as is his right hook and is an excellent combination puncher. He wasn't preparing to face a southpaw tonight, and especially not one who is as accurate, and as spiteful a puncher as Garcia. So... don't be shocked of Garcia wins by KO.
