Yeah, fair to say he's improved. The result against a repeat opponent speaks for itself, but his form...you had to see it to believe it. That was thrilling!

Maximiliano Ezequiel Mendez vs. Roberto Carlos Mario Marin, 4 rounds @ super bantamweight

 

This four-rounder will probably be all, since it's supposed to be a 90 minute broadcast. (11:30pm-1am local time, 10:30pm-midnight EST)

They'll probably run a bit over, unless this is pre-recorded filler and ended early.

There are no other cards televised anywhere tonight.

 

Roberto Marin is almost technically a midget.

He is one inch away from the legal definition.

 

Mendez is probably a normal sized 122 lber in reality, but in against Marin he looks like a super middleweight. :rofl

 

Round 1

Mendez is jumping from side to side, trying to disallow any "dart in and out" pot shot blueprints that would seem to be Marin's aim. Right jabs are flicked out, almost backhanded into the smaller man's face as Mendez tries to clap down on him with a left hand. Marin is reduced to catching shots on his mitts, held up high almost at full extension, like a pair of umbrellas. Mendez is able to stun him a few times but not keep him still long enough to really do any damage.
