Mendez is flitting about with sidesteps on his toes, jabbing into the body of Marin. Mendez turns orthodox and lands some left jabs, and catches Marin in a leaning pose with his right cross flush on the brow!! Marin is rocked back on his heels by another 1-2 as Mendez sharp shoots from outside with his much longer arms. Mendez dances around Marin, casually jabbing with his left. Marin tries to tuck up and march straight in, under Mendez's chest. Mendez knocks him back with a few jabs, then crouches and stares at him. Marin gets his turtle shell up and absorbs some hard right hand leads coming forward. Mendez backs all the way up to the ropes, then drops his hands and rolls his head around to slip Marin's probing jabs before landing one of his own. Mendez is toying with him.

Round 3

Mendez is jabbing in at Marin, moving close and falling atop him, then drilling a right hand into his gut before stepping past him. Mendez is bullying him without even pressuring him, just moving around him and scoring with jabs while Marin struggles to reach him and makes the first move time and again to let Mendez counter from a relaxed stance on the outside. Mendez is having fun, ducking and showing off.

Round 4

Marin is going for it!! David and Goliath! Big hooks from the hip!! Marin is throwing caution to the wind and jumping in with big shots! Mendez tries to keep it civilized, backing up and boxing off his jab or tossing his whole body over Marin like a quilt. Marin scores with a hard shoveling right to the body. Marin is slipping some Mendez overhands on the inside, quick and sprightly! Mendez gets Marin buckling over with a well-placed body shot! Marin is only briefly cowed, getting right back to business and tossing high jabs into Mendez's face in between quick squats and thrusting himself up off bent knees to throw his right hand. Mendez is backed up to the ropes, and there's the bell.

This was bananas. I'm guessing Mendez is division average height (about 5'6") - which Marin is half a foot shorter than.
