If this was prime JSK, I'd take him to win the fight no question. But it's so hard to see after all the wars he's been in that he's not going to show wear against a similarly relentless guy. As you said IB, JSK has the edge in range and actually has an ok jab when he elects to use that range, but he has little movement and Kamegai isn't the type to be held back by just a jab. And once Kamegai gets into range, the hands will be flying both ways, but I think the fresher fighter in Kamegai gets the edge on this one. Should obviously be a very good fight either way though.

Yeah. If there had been signs of all the wars (coupled with the inactivity, despite his BKB experience...which IMO counts against the rust quotient but was a grueling experience that counts for as much wear & tear as would a "real" boxing match of double the length :think) taking a toll on his punch resistance I'd probably lean Kamegai's way, but Jesús still appears to have that freakishly strong chin able to stand up to all but world class hitters (and even then failing only with a great deal of accumulation)

Kamegai gets KO'd by Soto Karass' cadaverous jawbone ricocheting off the turnbuckle post and embedding itself in Yoshi's left nipple, he'll be unable to continue.:-(

Backing Kamegai here. More active, less shot.

Not way, seeing ggg live is way way better and ortiz v berto 2 is a much higher level war. No way jsk v kami is even on those levels.

You're great with what you purchased, ggg events are something else and ortiz berto 2 is a great fight, I don't think berto sees the "championship" rounds, even though what gets lost is all 12 rounds are championship rounds and count just as much as round 12.

That's always bothered me, and I just used that bs cliche,"championship rounds" lmfao

Oops, replied to wrong poster, you'll all figure it out

Depends on what you like. GGG with another one-sided highlight reel stoppage against a no-name doesn't have the same level of appeal to me. Berto vs Ortiz II has the potential to be better, but neither fighter is what they once were. In particular, I don't think Ortiz will show the amount of heart he showed in his first fight with Berto given what we've seen of Ortiz's quasi-recent form. JSK vs Kamegai is the safest bet for entertainment value, though it is obviously two fringe-level at best fighters that aren't really going anywhere fighting each other.
