    Willard was Champ and beat JJ so he was a solid fighter of his day- Cooper had some good battles but quit in a few of them- he was sporadic and lost most of the big ones - did not win too many- The Willard that fought Dempsey was inactive like most Heavyweights of the day but a prime Willard wears down Burt by the 8-10th round and drags him into the 16th where Burts quits
