Better than they'd turn out for JJ and Willard.

Willard's fought and beaten nobody of consequence. His resume is void of any substance and even his best win JJ is basically just a triumph of youth and size over an old man. Hell, I bet Botha victim Timo Hoffman would defeat Willard.

Don't you see the problem here?

It is "Botha would have done this" vs "Willard actually did that."

You can't say that a man who won the lineal title, beat "nobody of consequence."

    Botha beat "nobody of consequence."

Willard beat "fighters of consequence", the only point of debate being how much consequence.

Wlad KOed Botha before losing in 2 to Corrie Sanders.

If Wlad was really in his prime at that point (which I don't think he was) then he's not a top 10 all time heavyweight.

In a dismal era against an old, old man. Let's not forget that bit.

Really? Botha beat the crap out of Briggs who had won the lineal championship. Where do we stand now?

I hear Trevor Berbick beat Ali.

    What an impressive victory.

Must be some sort of ATG.

Lewis could get up off the couch, smoke a joint the size of my arm and beat Willard and JJ back to back.
