Jesse Hart is a 6'2 24 year old Middleweight/Super Middleweight with a 16-0 13 KO's record. Born and raised and fighting out of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA. He's been boxing since he was 6 years old and after all its in his blood his father was a Middleweight fighter back in the 70's Eugene "Cyclone" Hart, he's got an Amateur record of 85-11 he holds victories over quite a few decent US fighters like Antoine Douglas, Chris Pearson and a near draw with Terrell Gausha, when he turned pro he signed with Bob Arum's Top Rank Promotions. One thing that's promising about Jesse is he says he wants to be an exciting fighter like Mike Tyson that makes Americans care a little more about Boxing again which is always a good thing, at least in theory. He's pretty decent all around, he's got pretty good power, he's a good body puncher, has good jabs both right and left. So Let's Hope that Jesse has the Heart and puts in the Hard Work to become a breakout Star in the Super Middleweight Division, alongside the Dirrell Brothers and Ward, but thankfully his style is a little more exciting than theirs. Well, he has a chance to shine on the biggest stage now after he's been added to the May-Pac undercard

He's against Mike Jimenez, which if its any indication of the quality of the undercard, then the undercard ain't looking too hot.:patsch

Yeah, technically Jimenez sports an identical record to Hart's, 16-0, but he in truth lost to Derrick Findley.

It was changed to a NC because Findley tested positive for Tylenol-3.

For a toothache.:-( Sometimes drug testing can be ridiculous, that reminds me of a cyclist who won 5 stages in the Tour of Italy, who had asthma and one of the stages he took 5 puffs of his salbutamol instead of the 4 he was allotted by the UCI and he was stripped of all 5 wins and banned for a year. How's that for intolerant.

Roy Jones still cops flack over being a "cheater" because he drank an over-the-counter energy supplement. :patsch

To say nothing of how ridiculous all the overturned decisions are that were prompted by someone merely smoking weed. :secret

Even though its off boxing topic 2 other examples of crazy positive tests in cycling, a cyclist named Gilberto Simoni tested positive for trace amounts of cocaine even though he provided a bag of candy with coca leaves as an ingredient he bought while doing altitude training in Peru, and Alberto Contador was stripped of a win at the Tour De France because he tested positive for trace amount of a steroid not used in doping but used to beef cows up in Spain, he even provided the bill for the steak he ate the night before, they're complete Nazis in cycling.

I will not support Hart as he comes off like a whiny little b*tch when he doesn't get his way. He's just not a like[able person and he's not quite talented enough to make it all the way.

Definitely a title in his future but I actually dislike this kid more than Broner.

Unfortunately that seems to be a pattern with a lot of American fighters lately.

He sorta reminds me of Dirrell pre Abraham or Chad Dawson type which is good especially if he is mentally tough like most Philly fighters he can do some things for sure but time will tell

Well to be fair, it was cycling.
Salbutomol was probably the least potent substance he had in his body...

Its also the most stringently tested sport on the planet, that's why they catch everybody for the stupidest things. At least they try unlike Boxing.:deal
