Jessie Vargas $1.2 million Humberto Soto $150,000 Sor Rungvisai $500,000 Estrada $200,000 Daniel Roman $200,000 Tj Doheny $230,000 Anthony Sims jr $50,000 Vaughn Alexander $20,000
How is Soto getting so little compared to Vargas I understand the A side stuff but dang he is making less than the undercard fights
I'm sure Soto and his guys are used to ghastly paydays... I assume that's one of the reasons he had to fight so much!
Let me translate that for you, nothing Soto an do short of winning by KO will get him the decision tonight.
I agree. He was semi retired, and fought at 130-135 most of his career. He wasn't supposed to beat Rios. He deserves a hell of a lot more than 150K if Vargas is getting over a mil. Especially fighting at 154. This is a joke set up. I hope he pulls of another upset.
I doubt he stops Soto, who has a good chin. Vargas has a good right hand but it's not like Matthysse's (the last guy to stop Soto). And that's really all Vargas has, he isn't a pressure fighter like Lucas either so it'll be a boxing match. My prediction is Vargas outworks Soto and wins a decision while dropping a couple of rounds. My money is on Soto though, +475 against Vargas is too good to pass up on.
I don't think its all he is getting, nor what Sor Rungvisai or the rest of them are getting. Basically wherever DAZN isn't available, there will be a TV deal. And fighters often get additional money from those TV deals. I would be shocked if Sor Rungvisai didn't get a penny from Thailand. Dude is huge over there.
lol this is an undercard fight noone's really interested in. He's being overpaid literally like 10 times over. Someone's seriously ripping off DAZN or whoever is paying these figures.
