A former IBF light flyweight champ (and longtime contender, serving as both the WBC Silver & Intercontinental champion) herself, Chávez seems to have abandoned 108lbs secure in the knowledge that Zamora, having twice outpointed her, just has Kika's #. Interestingly, commentating at ringside was Mariana "Barbie" Juárez, the former WBC flyweight champion and now a top contender at super fly.
