Ferguson at 41 beat carbon copy of Alex Leapai - Samson Pouha, dropping him early and knocking him out in 8th.

Now, I believe that Pouha was even slightly better than Leapai who was knocked out by Kevin Johnson and lost every round to Malik Scott.

So, every version of Ferguson wins this 10 times out of 10.

Especially the prime Jesse who beat Douglas and dropped Truth Williams in competitive fight. Ferguson was a journeyman. But he was a journeyman in an exceptional era.

Add a win over Mercer and his top wins are pretty solid, much more solid then Leapai's

Absolutely. Alex Leapai is clearly the weakest Wlad's challenger.
Charles Shufford and Ray Austin would've schooled him just like Malik Scott, even 2008 Rahman and old Mormeck were better than Leapai.
