Are we talking about Jessie Vargas? The guy coming off of two draws to less than top competition? I understand Jaime is young and developing but this is a terrible title fight.
man this guy was about to fight ggg. but they wouldnt let him. and now hes a safely protective investment. was that just a way to get his name out there? because if so it worked. because i think they plan on him fighting this hogan guy first. an if they lining up vargas for him after that is a fight where hes not worried about because vargas doesnt hit hard. he will run right through him. size difference will be noticeable. personally i dont like it all that much. hes fighting good fighters. but he could be fighting great fights. like going after hurd or wanting the winner of lara vs castano... or trying to stop charlo vs harrision rematch and trying to get harrisions belt.
That's how screwed up the NSAC is... They wouldn't let Jamie fight GGG... But they let Conor fight Floyd.
Jaime kills this little guy. I don't have a problem with Jaime building his resume and getting a few fights under his belt, especially if he's staying active. Good on him, he has plenty of time on his side he's still a boy As long as he fights his mandatories obviously... If you want a crack at the champ get in line I say
