Jesus! Canelo has balls.

Canelo and the people behind him are not dumb gents. He didn't ask for the best at 175, he asked to fight Kovalev. Just like Pac asked for Thurman. Kovalev's skills have been on display for a while now and his flaws are glaring, Canelo is well aware that Kovalev's flaws line up with his strengths, He fully intends to knock Kovalev out and it wouldn't surprise me if he did. The only down side I see for Canelo is that Kovalev might be faster than what Canelo is anticipating and that could be a problem for him.

If canelo chose Beterbiev, Gvozdyk or Bivol they’d say he ducked Kovalev lol

Probably, because that's what always happens. Still I rate all 3 above current Kova, like I mentioned before, and also believe Clenelo would have the most issues with Bivol and Beterbiev.
Kovalev brings the most prestige and is the "easiest" option atm, so a logical step.

Exactly! He fought GGG twice, albeit close. Now Canelo is fighting Kovalev. GGG wouldn't even go out of his division! GGG had a chance to fight Ward or Kovalev to prove himself GREAT.

I don't see how anybody rates GGG higher than Canelo right now. Canelo has the bigger balls PERIOD. As far as I can remember, GGG was calling out smaller guys like Mayweather and Canelo.

For the record, I don't think Canelo beats this faded version of Kovalev. As others have said, he still has plenty left in the tank.

I know canelo has done a lot of things that make people not like him like all the drugs stuff and catch weights but this sort of fight without a catch weight and I’m guessing no rehydration clause shows that canelo wants to be a great and that should be something we all respect regardless of how we feel about canelo
