Jezzrel Corrales Gonzalez is a 5'6 25 year old Super Featherweight with a 20-1 8 KO's record. Born in and fighting out of San Miguelito, Panama. I can proudly say that the moment Fortuna dropped out of the running for a shot at Uchiyama and Jezreel stepped up to take his place, I proclaimed that stylistically Corrales would be a far tougher test than Fortuna who I deemed overrated, and that Corrales may even beat the old war horse. In lieu of what's happened over the last few months in regards to both Corrales and Fortuna, god damn I knocked that one out of the park.:hey Of course Jezreel stopped Uchiyama in 2 ending the reign of one of the most impressive Super Featherweight reigns in quite some time, but anyone who saw his performance against Juan Antonio Rodriguez who took Fortuna to the brink leaving him a bloody mess, yet Jezreel made Rodriguez quit, after schooling him with absolute ease, at times he looked Mayweatheresque in that performance. Not only is Jezreel offensively well rounded with his awkward herky jerky style, but what most don't seem to realize is he's versatile, he can also be an ultra slick retreating counter puncher with impeccable defense. So going forward or backward, he's potentially going to be a handful for many fighters in the smoking hot Super Featherweight division. So Check Out The Southpaw Spectre Of San Miguelito In Action. :toney:toney:toney:toney

Uchiyama had absolutely no idea how to deal with Corrales. He was just way too awkward, and fast for him. Would be interesting to see him against Vargas, Salido, Sosa, Walters or Fortuna. I think Walters is the only one that clearly beats him out of that bunch.

 Of course you do, personally I think Walters would be his easiest victim along with Sosa and Fortuna, ironically the guy I give a legit chance to beat Corrales the most viciously is Miura.

Wtf. What do you mean of course I do? I'm not even a Walters fan, I can just respect his talent. The only person who beats Walters with ease from 126-30 is Lomachenko. You think Corrales will have a walk in teh park with Walters . He beats Sosa, but Fortuna is another question mark and a 50/50 fight for me. Miura would get destroyed by Corrales. Of course he has a punchers chance though.

I can't stand Walters, I've never liked him and have always thought he was an overrated weight cutter, and you always seem to pick guys that I don't like.

So wait...he beats Sosa who just stopped Fortuna who's almost as awkward as Corrales, but he struggles with Fortuna? Okay:lol:

Don't start thinking Corrales is some monster KO artist, he's by nature more of a counter puncher, he caught Uchiyama off guard, it was the element of surprise mixed with Uchiyama's chin starting to go in recent matches Kaneko almost KO'd him as well, Miura's chin is probably better at this point that Uchi's and Corrales wouldn't have the advantage of being a southpaw against the Bomber Left.

Why are you playing dumb. You know Fortuna was winning that fight and would have won if it went the distance. Fortuna chin is questionable, but I'd pick him to beat Sosa in a rematch. I don't see Corrales blowing Fortuna out. A big factor in Corrales destroying Uchiyama was not only how slick and awkward Corrales was, but the speed difference. He does not have that advantage against Fortuna.

He probably would have edged it, but he didn't because he got knocked the **** out, so its a moot point isn't it? Fortuna has never been down previously and Sosa got to him and dropped and stopped him. Corrales has been dropped a total of 4 times by far lesser fighters than Jason, so its not far fetched in the least.

Fortuna isn't as fast, slick or as awkward as Corrales. And they're both southpaws, Corrales takes Fortuna out and early.:deal

I still say this guy probably gives Loma his hardest fight at 130 due to his awkward style speed and explosiveness.
