I think he might be about to get taken out behind the woodshed by the old man.

    Round 1

Corrales is sweeping in wide left hands after pawing the right jab coming in. Right hook by Corrales missing, backing Estrada into the ropes. Corrales launches a big wide left as Estrada is turning by the ropes and connects on the chin. Estrada down. He beats the count and comes forward. Another wide left with a right hook behind it. Estrada down again, waved off.

    KO1!

Weird. Could have sworn that he was 15-0 earlier today, now he's 15-1... :think (well 16-1 now that he starched the old man)

    :yep

That has always been the problem with Estrada.

He gets blitzed and blown out early a lot - suffering bad KO2s to Vargas (out cold for several minutes), Quintero (for the full ten count), Hernandez and Troyanovsky (a bunch of knockdowns) and KO1s to Gamboa and Farenas - but if he gets past the 2nd he can usually cause anyone headaches.

Yeah, he looked every bit the part of a ragged, well-used 38 year old super featherweight in there.

Both superficially (wrinkly face, skin pulled taut over his gaunt frame) and in his legs.

His last upset was over two years ago, over a green 9-0 kid. His last upset over a top 40 guy was Tyrese Hendrix, over three years ago. His last upset over someone really meaningful was Galaxxxy Warrior, four years ago.

I think his upset days are done. :!:
