Wow im going to call you the king of excuses ..So no wyour saying that Hopkins only beat Tarver because he was weight drained ?? Hmm I think the same could have been said about Jones when he lost to Tarver but it was conveintly turned into the glass jaw conspiricy !

4 or 5 yrs ago Hopkins was beating middle weights like Allen and Eastman ..Nowhere near the fighter the likes of Joe ..And lets not forget that Hopkins was never known to be a knock out type of fighter ..Hopkins wasn't stopping anyone I undrstand your distates for Joe but I think your hate is blinding you from the truth ..Joe came to the US and did what most people said he wouldn't now becuase it was an ugly you can't give him his due ..:bart

Tarver did lose a substantional amount of weight just months before there match, all I'm saying is Tarver wasnt as his best that night. Jones had 3 tough fights with Tarver, one where he was brutally knocked out, the first fight was a close victory, and the 3rd fight was a pretty easy win for Tarver. Tarver proved himself to be the better fighter during that couple year span.

Hopkins can knock a guy out if he needed to, he blasted out Tito and strong chinned Johnson, as well as Oscar who's known to have a solid chin. Joe waited 10+ years after winning a belt at SM to come to the states, and it wasnt even against a prime American fighter, a win over Pavlik would at least give him more clout. Instead of fighting guys in there prime like Pavlik and Dawson, he rather fight past there prime greats like Jones and Hopkins to fill his very empty resume thats filled with C class oppenents many have not even heard of. Defending a lame WBO belt for the better part of 10 years dont help much either(1997-2006), he still has a little more work to do before he's considered a great in my book.

Come on man now your discrediting Hopkins with that nonsense ..

He didn't KO Tito he shut him out then the corner threw in the towel after he was knocked down and lets be honest did you really beleive that Oscar was Ko ed ? Im a DLH fan but I thought that was an Oscar worthy performance ..Hopkins is no ko puncher ..He beat a very green Johnson at the time he was baby in the sport ..Hopkins couldn't even KO William Joppy !

And so you know Joe and Warren made sveral atempts to get Hopkins the most notible one before their recent fight was in 02 ..Was it his fault that Hopkins was difficult to deal with ?

Joe can't be faulted for that he has called out Hopkins for yrs ..The win over Lacy would be the equivalnt to a win over Pavlik ..Lacy was prime I remember he was supposed to do the exact same thing people are saying Pavlik will do to him now ..I am going to agree to disagree on the past his prime Hopkins comment ..Hopkins was apparently shot after the Taylor fights but who had the last laugh ..

And as far as that lame WBO belt last I checked Joe not only unifed the divison but holds a pretty impressive record on title defenses ..I like it how you discredit his accolades but speak of Pavlik like he has accomplished so much when all he is right now is over hyped !!

And thats not to discredit him because I love watching him fight but I am not dubbing him great or elite based on his two victories over Taylor ..Miranda was a glorified journeymen ..I had no doubt that anyone with sound boxing fundimentals would have exposed his ass Pavlik happened to be the first ..

Calzaghe is an excellent fighter, he would stop Roid, but if the fight is in America, he will have to stop him because of the criminal judges and referee.
