These two will be fighting on the same card in May..

Could they be on a collision course?

If the reports about Marquez are correct, then Rafa meets his end by brutal KO at the hands of Jhonny who carries prety good pop in his gloves.

Gotta watch how Rafa does first. If he is absolutely in trouble and looking washed up in his next fight then he gets knocked out by Jhonny.

Sadly, I think Vasquez and Marquez might've just ruined each other, which has ruined the spectacle of seeing either of them fight JuanMa.

I hope for their own safety they have enough money to live a nice chilled life for the rest of their days, we as fans can't ask for much more of them than the Trilogy they have put on, as well as their careers beforehand.

Jhonny dominates for the most part and STILL finds a way to lose. I figure this will be filled with "Gonzalez KO" posts and rightfully so but I don't trust Jhonny Gonzalez in a big fight and I have a hard time counting out Rafa. Even if he's suffering potential brain damage.

I hope he gets a nice pay day and retires.

Jhonny is too good for his own good. His chin doesn't match up to his supreme offense which is the problem. Only thing he can do is to tighten up his guard and work on mixing up his offense with his defense..

Lopez and Caballero doesn't want none of this.

Both JuanMa and Caballero would starch Gonzalez, who, apart from his win over an unmotivated Montiel, is best known for throwing away a big lead over Vasquez and being dropped with a signel gut shot from Penalosa.

Very, very talented fighter Gonzalez, but not quite good enough (only IMO i must stress) to beat the fighters you are mentioning.

Still, no way either guy get a walkover against Gonzalez. He is sure a talented fighter.

I'd pick him over Molitor, that's for sure.

    :lol::lol::lol::lol:

That's an awful lot of faith to have in a guy whose done little to warrant it.

Gonzalez is either a good fighter whose extremely unlucky or a good fighter whose extremely stupid...either or. Personally I bet on the former.

Strikes me as the sort of dude whose good enough to get there but not good enough to finish.

From reports is sounds like Marquez and Vasquez have completely destroyed each other.
Still even if Marquez is still fresh, the same Johnny Gonzalez that showed up against Izzy would of won a wide UD over Rafa IMO.

We'll see how Rafa looks in his return fight, but as of now I lean towards Gonzalez.
