We're pretty lucky that this much film survived of Corbett's heyday. He was the last technician to use something close to the style from the London Prize Ring days, and he was considered an expert at it. Plus, he's fun to watch if you know what to look for. His technique is as close to 19th century textbook as you'll find. Invaluable footage. Everytime i see your name it reminds me of these tablets i had to take in hospital when i couldnt have a **** for 6 days straight and then it came out like perfectly round rocks
What about the Edison film, of the second fight with Jeffries ? I only have a couple of rounds ,but the whole film is out there.
I highly recommend Corbett sparring with Kid McCoy for W.W I bonds. The film is very clear. Corbett's speed and reflexes are still impressive years after his prime. Pretty good feints too. Check it out!
