totally delusional take to even suggest Corbett has the speed advantage let alone having a chance in this fight . The best case scenario for Corbett is him getting a few duck under counters but even then it's highly unlikely. I get you're playing a character with this Corbett fanboy nonsense but you expose yourself comparing a pace of a 25 round (Fitzsimmons) bout to the era Greb was in it's totally night and day.

Agree, but does any fighter from that era impress, Ketchell, Jeffries, Corbett, Fitz, all look arcane, I was shocked when YT put out slides of these fighters, some might say Johnson looks good, maybe, I feel any moderate fighter of the 40s and 50s would have the beating of the old timers, with very few exceptions.

No, the problem with me with Corbett is his record tbh.
The biggest win on his record is over the aged, washed up John L .
The Sullivan win does a lot of the work when people talk about Corbett.
He never really beat any genuinely great fighters or anything like that.

 

Methinks it is delusional to believe that any former champion who is about the same size (& Corbett is larger) has "no chance" against someone who also is from Ye Olde ancient Tymes.

We do not even know if Greb is faster-although I suspect he was.
I would go with Greb, but *no way* is anything a foregone conclusion.
