I think that Corbett would have a verry good chance of outboxing McVea over 20 or even 25 rounds. McVea probably dosn't aply constant enough pressure to wear him down. Over an distance significantly greater than that, McVea is likley to outlast him and get him eventualy.
Disagree strongly. The longer distance means a stoppage win for me. The punishment Corbett inflicted upon the master boxer Jackson over 60 speaks to that. McVey would suffer very badly here.
A Corbett KO is a possibility, but I suspect it dosn't happen. Although McVea was no defensive master, he had more firepower than Jackson. Corbett would have to stay clear of that rapid fire left hook, and this would force him into more of a hit and run strategy. This could be like the first Corbett Jeffries fight in some ways.
