Jim Driscoll vs. Willie Pep

I think Pep's style combined with his physical advantages would give Driscoll a lot to overcome.

Driscoll was one of the best ever orthodox fighters whereas Pep was probably the best ever unorthodox fighter.

Driscoll's sharp shooters down the middle, Peps hard-to-track footwork - both guys would give the other problems.

Both had a good work rate - Pep let his go in combination more, but Driscoll had the stiffer single blows.

Real even fight I reckon.

 

Certainly a fight that shows that some boxing can be entertaining.
