    This guy is ALWAYS disrespecting fighters whether it's slapping the post-fight snack out of Maidana's hand, sounding all pissed and impatient, or just cutting fighters off and ending the interviews.

    How does he still have a job?

    And most recently, grilling and humiliating the ref from the King Tug fight.

    He's the representative of a network that likely has something in their fine print about not having fighters do consumable sponsorships (think MONSTER Energy with the UFC). Jim Gray is definitely a nasty chode but this isn't the clip to showcase it. Occasionally him being a nasty chode is nice to see when he's directing it at some one or some thing that is bad.

    Even if the network had strict guidelines about consumable sponsorships, I'm 100% sure that it's not his place to enforce it. When he slapped Maidana's hand away, that was a result of his irritation and need to control the situation (ego, not professionalism).

    I mean yeah Gray is obnoxious, but so are the vast majority of boxing voices on broadcasts. How can boxing fail to put compelling and likable people on broadcasts across the board? Once the HBO crew was gone it has been all downhill.

    I think recently he's been less provocative I think he finally realized how lucky he'd been not to get decked a time or two. He certainly deserved it
