If his deal with WADA supersedes NSAC, then that isn't going to be a good enough excuse. But if WADA's rules of IV usage don't govern over the NSAC, then, well, all of this is moot.

It all will depend on the language of the contract (yes, the contract that none of us have seen). It'll go to federal court and they will handle it.

It clearly states that Mayweather and Pacquiao swore to uphold the standards and protocols of WADA for prohibited method and substances AND exemptions. Go look at it.

 

The only reason there is any chance at all of a rematch is the money. Only hardcore Pac fans fully believe the shoulder thing or think it would have mattered any way at all. Floyd won easy and it would be the same thing again. A sparring match for an absurd amount of money.

The fight was easy to score. Yes, I get it. You want Floyd to lose. Pac isn't your guy to beat him. Virtually no one wants to see that easy sparring match again.

 

Floyd would do about anything to maximize his earning potential so it's not out of the realm of possibility. He and Manny spend a lot of money. Another large retirement check would be great for both.

 

I'm personally not at all interested, in fact, I hope he retires after Berto and so does Pac soon, their legacies are over and it's time for new blood in the sport.

Oh, no. Not at all. They might use it though as a narrative to build hype for a rematch. The shouldergate wasn't planned either. However, that will obviously be used as a selling point as well.

 

What if Pac won? I'm curious to know if Mayweather would lose purposely to set a "break all records" third fight. I don't think so... but...who knows. It'd be a LOT of money.
