You hide behind what can not be pulled from the web. Look a newspaper said it, and Jeffries has several other matches in print that were not recorded by box rec.

So unless you think the newspapers were for some reason lying, he had 40+ fights, not 22 as you incorrectly claim.

How typical. Your "proof " when you post it here is often from books, some of which were wrong. We know you don't watch many films. In fact, I can't recall anyone here saying " good post McVey " but one day I'm sure you will give us one.

Before his comeback Jeffries fought two prime class opponents Ruhlin and Sharkey ,Ruhlin had been ruined by Fitzsimmons who beat the cr8p out of him.Sharkey gave him life and death in2 fights despite conceding4 inches in height and32lbs in weight.
Many thought he deserved a draw in one of their fights. He basically made his rep on old ,coming out of retirement, smaller men.

 

Come on... You provided some cherry-picked examples that weren't at all representative of how these fighters fought. If you really need examples to see how differently the men I mentioned fought, I would be glad to oblige though. Give me a second.
