    That just about says it as best as you can say it. It would have been Tunney outsmarting and outboxing JJ all night long.

    Points decision win for Gene .Jim tries roughing Tunney up in the clinches but gets as much back in return. Jeffries never really comes close to hurting Gene whilst his face show s sign s of Tunney s jab peppering it. As the fight near s its end Jeffries rushes at Tunney in a attempt to get shots i in close butGenes Chin absorb s the best of it .
    At the end Tunney is awarded a unanimous decision, whilst Jeffries proclaims that Gene is the greatest fighter he s ever fought .

    Jeffries was a thick stumbling brute. Tunney was a runner; he'd get on his bicycle and jab Jeffries into a Decision. Boring, one sided fight.
