There was considerable interest in this fight while Jeffries was champion.

Lets say that he decided to go ahead with it?

I dont expect anybody to pick Martin but how would the fight have played out?

It would probably have taken place after the Ruhlin fight.

Interesting fight. Jeffries never fought a 6'4 fighter with footwork, long jab, and countering abilities like Martin before. On the otherhand, Martin has been knocked out by lesser physical specimans than Jeffries. I like Martin to outbox, and at times make jeffries look bad early on with his movement and long left jab in jeff's face. I think Jeff's strength and body attack will eventually wear down Martin for a late stoppage win.
