Jim Lampley addressing accusations of being biased

It's fight time, emotion is running high. For me it's fun lol. People root for whoever they want to, why worry that a few posters address other issues rather than the actual fight game, just ignore them.
Some like me are just passionate, like in a football match, we wear the jersey, talk smack and let our preference known who we are rooting for.
As for the site, it's probably has Caucasian as a majority so you have more opinion sway a particular way, it's just normal. It's like you as a khan fan attending a fight between canelo and khan in LA, you will be outnumbered but it doesn't mean you will be disrespected by all.

 

I love how that certain bracket of fans complain about how much they hate HBO's biased commentary from Harold Lederman......I assume by Lederman they mean Lampley.

Lampley's job is to entertain and shill the product, there are no announcers free of bias in the sport anymore. They push story lines and sell the excitement of the live action displayed on the screen. Pure play by play is pointless in an age of HD multiple camera angle filming, they are simply there as a production enhancement, a human voice to emphasize excitement and emotion. Expecting more is a waste of time. Just an audio of crowd noise and ring sounds would be cool for the purest but would bore a broader television audience. It's funny the same people that criticize Lampley have no problem with other networks selling the company line.

True unbiased commentary would be the old radio broadcasts who had to do dry play by play to people that couldn't see the fight. Any errors on their part were simply because they were human and couldn't call everything they saw or for that matter, see everything.

 

Hypocrite! You live in a city with less than 2% African American population, what do you know about diversity? most African Americans probably hate you that is why you over compensate with your victocrat ramblings and faux sanctimony that makes serum of ipecac palatable in comparison.

The worst thing is true levels of cowardice. most character flaws are forgivable and even fixable to a degree but you will have to carry around your cowardice until the day you expire, looking at it, glaring back through your vacant soul every time you consult a reflective surface intentionally or otherwise.
