Jim Lampley - Disgrace to boxing, Cotto - heart of a fighter.

Uh, do you mind actually explaining why you feel Lampley is a disgrace to boxing?

Lampley ****ing CRIED after Cotto lost to Margarito. That tells you all you need to know about him. He should've been fired on the spot for pulling that ****.

 

Cotto was slow tonight. Even when throwing bodyshots and combs....

HBO have always been notoriously biased; get over it. First it was Taylor, then Pacquiao, now Cotto - it's no real surprise. I've never liked Jim Lampley, but I've got used to him over the years. It would be annoying to have another commentator replace him at this stage.

Anyway, I thought Cotto deserved to win the fight, from a humanistic rather than a boxing perspective. He had the opportunity to get the fight stopped after round 4 when he was almost certainly ahead on the cards, and fought threw a pretty bad gash the rest of the way, took some huge punches and made tactical adjustments in the final few rounds to reclaim the title. I scored it 114-113 Cotto, and I think that was a fair result. Clottey deserved a rematch, though.

 

Round 2 was a clear case for Clottey...but 3 was obviously Cotto...stop hating ****er. The headbutt really ****ed Clottey of that round.

 

HBO have a hard on for Cotto, get over it!

but, yes it's very annoying when Lampley and Kellerman breath, no mind talk!
