It just wouldn't be the same without lampley, every time a watch an hbo fight without lampley is just not the same feeling,lampley is energetic and really gets into the fight,it looks to me he really loves boxing as much as a fighter.

Jim takes all the heat I guess, but it's the whole TEAM's job, to hype up or whatever whoever the producer of the show is telling them too.:!::yep

One of the best example I can think of was Baby Bull vs. Nate Campbell. They had shown a 15 minute docu. on Baby Bull fightin' and goin' to college, church, etc... And they wanted him to WIN. No doubts, but it took 'til like the 10th round before they were finally like: "You know, Baby Bull just might lose this!".

Then they completely jumped ship on his ass and said "He's folding like a lawn chair!".

Jim was all pissed off at the in ring announcer that night too. Dude kept telling the winner before he'd say the scores and ****.

Anyways, I think he is a good commentator.

 

He's terrible. He should take a page out of the book of guys like Don Dunphy and just shut up until there's something to say. He also needs to stop orgasming over punches that don't even land.

 

jim is da ****. larry and stewart both suck and r boring. They should bring back george or roy jones there much more exciting. but jim shouldnt go anywhere
