Man I was driving I had to jump on this. If Margarito loaded for Mosley 100% he loaded for Cotto. Cotto, beat Mosley. Margs thought he would get away with tearing Cotto face apart. Anybody that knows boxings well would of jumped into cottos dressing room..after watching the cotto vs margs fight. He should be banned. 140 to 147 has major talent in it. Get them all together and make them fight OR DON'T FREA% KING PAy THEM!

you know what i think is that the gomez fight gave him false confidence, he thought he was flashy and slick, got too cocky, i think he needed a loss.

 

Why doesn't anyone mention the real reason cotto lost, he couldn't handle the pace, didnt have the stamina, defense or chin for Margarito

 

The fanboys which include Jim Lampley need a crutch to hold on to, and that crutch is Antonio Margarito and a so called pad with a substance on it in the Mosely fight dressing room.......

.....when someone needs a crutch, all logic that Nevada unlike California supplies all the bandaging materials is irrelevant and gets ignored and tossed out the window!

 

Sounds right. Cotto was tired by the 9th rd. Max had a good quote." Cotto wants this fight to be over while for Margo the fight just started.

 

Just because in Nevada they provide the supplies doesn't mean those are the ones they used. Besides, if it was a nuckle pad it could have been inserted no matter how new the wraps and gauze were. And they did not video tape it other wise the would have said it to end all controversies sorrounding the Cotto fight. I'm not saying Margo had plaster against Cotto, but ignoring the possiblity is just as ignorant.

Cotto shouldn't have fought at margo's pace, look at shane, he fought in his own pace and knocked him out.

That' definitely comes into play. Cotto was suckered to just target the face, he didn't want to stop throwing there as he couldn't believe the guy is still standing so he kept going there over and over till he was broken down by loaded gloves.

He should have worked the body more and held whenever he was cornered. Sadly he thought only "cowards" would use brains/tactics and hold, guess kissing the canvas was the result and being called a glass chinned fraud by those "fans" he tried to prove a hero to.

 

Yeah freedy he did fight the wrong gameplan. a matter of fact, he didnt have a gameplan. He though he can KO Margarito and when that didnt happen he didnt know what to do but lay on the ropes. thats why Mayweather is in a whole different league and its preety funny that PPL think Cotto can acutally beat Mayweather
