I love Showtime Championship Boxing! Always good to outstanding fights, and the broadcast crew is sooooooooo much better then HBO's!

And to think, 15 years ago I used to love Larry and Jim, but "Big George" would always **** me off, because he was always so bias towards the puncher of the fight. He was especially bad when Bernard put on a clinic against Trinidad, Foreman wouldn't give Hopkins any credit at all, while blowing kisses at Felix at the same time.

I can stand Max Kellerman but that's about it. Harold really needs to retire as well.

I think Jim has been doing the job to long as he's clearly lost his touch (if he ever had one.)

Yup. Lampley made himself looking like a blubbering idiot, whose face is packed so far up Pac's rectum, he is in an alternate reality. I was like, WTF is Lampley talking about. He could of at least found a round that Bradley didn't win. All that replay of that round did, was show how corrupt CompuBox is. We already knew Lampley was a biased piece of ****. You could triple Pac's actual punches landed in that replay of the round, and it wouldn't equal the 20 something shots CompuBox had Pac landing that round.

    "smoking gun?" j.lampley...

first and foremost....i have to say that the 7th round which we were allowed to view without commentary was hands down THEE BEST ROUND OF BOXING I EVER WITNESSED ON HBO!!!! it was so enjoyable to hear punches landing....the crowd cheering...pac saying..."c'mon boy!!!" mid-round....it was just like being ringside!!! i've been ringside for a few big fights and i can tell u that there is nothing like it! it is great!!!! not having jim "big right hand" lampley yell every few seconds trying to tell us what we are seeing was not missed at all!!! hbo should give that option to its' viewers. i am taking jim lampley's advice and i am boycotting all that is wrong with boxing (his commentary) until hbo gives us that option!!!

    now back to business...

round 7 was bradleys round and a clear indication of why ppl do not understand how to score boxing.

the criteria...which everyone seems to ignore...

    effective aggression
    clean punching
    defense
    ring generalship

in the 7th round bradley backed pac up to the ropes several times and initiated the action. pacquiao tied up a few times anytime bradley did this. he also leaned on bradley a total of 3 times and was warned each time in this one round. pac was only able to force bradley back when he let loose with a barrage of punches that mostly missed. at the end of the exchange bradley came right back and forced pac to the ropes. both fighters missed a bunch of punches...but bradley flicking his jab at times was enough to keep pac at bay. bradley landed several clean body shots this round which won it for him imo. he also landed a very nice uppercut that got the crowds attention towards the end of the round. pac countered with a very nice left hand. not enough to win it.

hbo needs to offer "NO COMMENTARY" as an option to subscribers.

its been a week and its safe to say now that the fight wasn't what the media wrote about it last week it seems everything its pointing towards the commentator and the punch stat is also getting a lot of heat

  10. Pac won that round pretty easily. For whatever reason ******s dont count pacs landed shots to Bradleys face. Yes the ones that had Bradley letting Pac off the hook and the ability to dictate the pace and fight when he wanted to because he tasted that. power.

Don't take away those Bradley punches and IT'S STILL a clear round for Pac.

Lampley didn't get "owned", he stated his case and let action in the video prove it.

I scored the fight a draw when I watched it but I have to give round 7 to Pacquiao. He took some body shots but he hit Bradley in the head with as many if not more, harder punches, one of which really snapped Bradley's head back near the end of the round. Clear Pacquiao round.
When I scored the fight a draw I actually gave rounds 2 and 8-12 to Bradley.

It's being too overanalyzed now IMO so a lot of what we see will be opinionated based on our biases. But In the moment I still felt it was a clear Pac victory.

PS I thought Bradley won the 7th. The best punches in that round were landed by Bradley.

no such thing as over analyzing in boxing.
