Jim Lampley should not be calling fights with Roach fighters!!

    Jim Lampley is a producer on a new reality show about Freddie Roach due to air on HBO next year. He announced this on HBO earlier this year.

    He also calls fights on HBO featuring several of Roach's fighters. This is a clear and obvious conflict of interest.

    His frequent whorish nuthugging of Linares last week was shameful (Steward and Kellerman were guilty of this as well). He also lavishes some unbelievable praise on Pac and Khan, making them all seem like the best boxers who have ever entered the ring.

    He seemed visibly upset when Linares got stopped last week, and he never says anything negative about Roach or his fighters. Every punch lands, they are perfect in every way, and they are all totally great, as long as they are trained by Roach!!.

    Lampley would remove himself if he had any dignity, but he doesnt, so that's it. :deal

    Lots of sports announcers play favorites. Always have. They're announcers calling sporting events, not journalists covering politics.

    I know. It sucks. Maybe you can get cable access to the British or Mexican broadcasts.
