Found this, thought i'd post it... Continuing the trend of HBO adding more boxing programming that goes beyond its bouts themselves, Jim Lampley will host HBO's first boxing studio show. The show, to be formally announced Tuesday, will debut in Saturday, May 12, at midnight E.T. HBO won't say how often the show will air, saying only it will "appear periodically." For now, it's meant as a stand-alone show rather than being tied to boxing event coverage. For Lampley, who has had a record 14 Olympic TV assignments, began his network career decades ago by winning a contest to become an original ABC college football sideline and first started with HBO in 1988. With that being said... Bang, Bang, Bang!!! :rofl
He is an excellent journalist - knows his stuff and asks good questions. His anchor role can be a little annoying, but he is one of the legends of the industry.
I remember listening to him on that old podcast the ring use to do.he knows his stuff was talking in detail about foreign fighters and smaller ppv fights
should be good - as long as it remains impartial. could be a good platform to try and force big fights into happening more!
