DeGale mate. Had a good watch of Dilks and Smith compared to Groves vs Anderson/Contreras/Kukulis aswell as some sparring clips. Just see to many weaknesses and even his strengths are not amazing or anything that blow you away. He's a decent fighter but got a fair bit to work on.

I actually agree when DeGale said you haven't got any better since turning pro. I find it hard to see any real positives in him. The Adamu fight was his best display and tbh Adamu lost to Dilks the fight prior.

Not to say DeGale is an angel but he's clearly improved and has more to his game.

Stoppage around 8-10 rounds in.

 

Groves used he have a lovely left hook to the body, aint seen that in his last few fights

 

Yep i think he's gone backwards of late. I don't see education in his work. He does schoolboy stuff like circling to opponents right hand. He has nice variety of shots but at times i don't see him setting punches up.

I look at it like this:

DeGale has a understanding of why/when and how to apply his style and techniques.

Groves doesn't understand when to use feints and when to use movement. What is his main defensive technique???. I still don't know.

I genuinely dont think he says anything particularly out of order he was a bit more vocal than i expected him to be but everything he says was said genuinely and i dont think in a spiteful way and was pretty funny if i'm being honest.

The hate is completely unjustified

 

hopefully he'll get more time with adam booth now haye is fighting at a much later date, hopefully see some improvements.

My mate always wanted to go to a show...then goes quiet when big fights come up. But deffo got 1 or 2 on board as well as my father who seems more up for it then anyone .

i got £100 1's, defo worth the money. the seats are steeper so person in front wont get in ur way. seats are alot more comfy than ur average MEN seats from what i can remember:thumbsup
