A fighter doesn't fight all of his life to survive, he makes some serious amount of money and when he knows it's time to leave(whether age is the reason or personal choice) then there can be different options. Let's face it, money brings options and that's what Floyd is planning(or already did) to do. Lewis retired, he doesn't seem to be struggling in life, not all fighters make that mistake. DLH fighting these days is based on personal choice as well and doesn't really need it.

The larger point is obvious, I only heard a short part of the segment and its clear what Rome was saying is that Floyd loves being rich and famous and brags about it, thats fine. . . but he got that way by boxing and if he retires with unfinished business the fame and wealth with both fade (we all know about his Barkley type gambling addiction).

You said Fraud really did break The Big Shows nose, you thought that shiit war real because you are a Fraud Groupie and a sad excuse for a boxing fan.

Pathetic typical approach, a win over Bruseless is as pointless as a win over Manuel Gomez/Golden Johnson(and endless more in Margarito's resume) as wins over Alfonso Gomez/Urkal(and endless more in Cotto's resume). Also that win over Bruseless was for the #1 contendership to Gatti's title the WBC belt, a belt Floyd always went for. Find something new please. :good

Cotto and AM have yet to duck a real challenge, in my book that gets more respect than Frauds cherry picking ways. :deal

Name one fighter that Floyd fought, from 140 and up, that Cotto would not have destroyed quicker than Floyd.

Do the same with Margo from 147 and up.

Their careers are still young, they still have plenty of time to eclipse Floyd.

Also, both are proving to take way tougher fights than Floyd, just by having the balls to fight each other, for peanuts nonetheless. (compared to what Floyd would demand)

You make it sound like Cotto or Margarito represent boxing now and if Floyd retires without beating them then he hasn't done anything in boxing. Newsflash hating ******, Floyd DOESN'T need them as much as they need him, his accomplishments and fights are out there for a nubcake like yourself to drool over after watching countless one-dimensional attacks from Margarito over the likes of Six Heads Lewis. :deal

Do the same with Margarito?, Margarito couldn't even get past Daniel Santos when he attempted a P4P run and moved up the very first time he did, the failure is out there to witness. As far as Cotto beating the hell out of opponents Floyd fought, this is hardly a prediction/comparison of opponents, it's accomplishments I'm asking you about. You think Floyd wouldn't have beaten Abdullaev, Torres, Malignaggi and all the rest Cotto ran into?

I agree Floyd would beat all the people Cotto and Margo beat.

What I'm trying to say is that from 140 up, Floyd has done **** all.

And I'm no Floyd hater, just callin a spade a spade.

That's your opinion then and I'm not here to force you to change it but my point here is based on accomplishments, push both Cotto and Margarito together and compare with Floyd's, not based on opponents you think sucked or are crap, I don't really care with that just accomplishments in general. The man was P4P#1 for a reason and Margarito didn't exist on that list his entire career for a reason as well, that's all I'm trying to say when people say Floyd needs Cotto and Margarito for "legacy". Don't get me wrong, a win over Cotto is definitely good for legacy but isn't desperately needed as scrubs like Ramshall try to say and a win over Margarito would be looked at as a win over Baldomir in the long run. Though a win over Baldomir would be more impressive considering the man was at least the undisputed champion when Floyd got to him and the man to beat Judah who beat Spinks who beat Mayorga who beat Forrest who beat Mosley who beat DLH.

Its calles a publicity stunt, thats what the WWE is - a circus sideshow, one publicity stunt after another. :patsch

If your 12 years old you can be forgiven, if not you are simply stupid.

Totally agree with you Scar, as I usually do.

He doesn't NEED anybody, he has already accomplished a ton.

But don't try telling me a win over Cotto won't look amazing on his resume, especially decades from now.

    :good
