He's had some great and memorable lines in his wrestling commentary career, and if he could bring that passion to boxing he'd be a great play-by-play man for the sport

I remember JR did a broadcast for one of the FS1 Golden Boy cards a couple of years ago.

He does have the mic skills although I was waiting for him to scream "Bah Gaawd!!"

Not really. He was nervous. Completely different thing, going unscripted.

More or the same leap pro wrestlers themselves would need to make transitioning into real combat sports. Being able to go through it all choreographed is a particular set of talents and that deserves respect and everything...but, ain't nothing like the real thing, baby.
