lol, comeback my arse . Jim never retired and said this is likely to be his last fight . This makes him a 4 weight Irish champion, considering he was the only man to ever be a 3 weight Irish champion it really pushes him away from several others(there is a few two weight irish champions about) .

Jim's a decent fighter and fights to his limitations perfectly, steady jab, good right hand and very sound defensively giving nothing away .

He should be able to deal with Finnegan .

 far from it, and as nice a man as Rock is I wouldn't say it to his face .

No he just wears pink shorts and has the pink panther theme tune as his entrance music .

Whenever he's not fighting he's usually an analyst on RTÉ Pro Box Live .
So anyone that hasn't seen him fight , but has watched a Dunne,Duddy,Lee,Macklin,McCloskey etc fight from Ireland on RTE has probably seen him .

Irish boxing has been taking a bit of a hammering lately so good on him.

The only reason it has been 'taking a hammering' is because we've way more decent fighters than before(hence more fighters that can be 'hammered') .

Duddy, Lee, Macklin, James Moore, Haughian, McCloskey, Andrew Murray Dunne are there and that's not even considering the likes of Brian Magee, 5 Olympians and a truck load of prospects just turning pro .

3 Irish boxers won Gold at the EU Championships recently, with 2 Silvers aswell .

Irish boxing is in a better state than ever .

Ah ya, it's easy to get mixed up when you're doing so well :D

By the way that is Rock in Marty's avatar for those not familiar with him .

Correct he stopped him in the 9th round in his first fight back since losing his WBO title challenge to Daniel Santos .

It was the same night Neil Sinclair stopped Bradley Pryce .
I'm nerely sure I watched that card but remember nothing from it, apparently Rock was doing pretty well before being stopped(or so I've heard) .
