watt doesn't half talk **** sometimes. in tonight fight with franscis and oakey he was going on about francis is though he was some novice. He was saying that dean should be getting discouraged by okaey not going down from his punches. come on

dean is a pro of some 14 years. he's met plenty of tony oakeys. he knows what it can be like sometimes. on the plus side jim watts commentary creates some great odds. i got 12 to 1 on dean in play because watts commentary influences a lot of bookies and the exchanges

I hate Jim Watt. His a biased ego maniac. I tired of his drivel years ago. Give me Steven Holdsworth ANY day of the week. **** it give me Dickie Davies!!

Does Holdsworth still do the commentary for Eurosport? It seems like I haven't listened to him for ages but it might just be that I haven't watched any boxing on Eurosport in a while.

I'll never forget the time he called someone a "bent referee".

I'm sure Holdsworth did the commentary for Hide V Rudiger.

He did on Eurosport. Because Eurosport is soo obsure in comparison to the other sports channels Steven i guess gets to pull no punches at all. His certainly not the type of commentator like Watt and co who just tow the company line to earn a wage thats for sure.

Not too sure to be honest!:D The last time i watched Eurosport was when Amir Khan fought Kindelan as an Amateur and i rang up Eurosport to post a comment which Steven read out. As far as im concerned Holdsworth is an old school pro who calls it how he see`s it and knows exactly what his talking about. Too many journalists now tow the company line so they can assure there next wage packet.

His commentary can be a bit ****.

But I thought his scorecard was spot on.

i really like holdsworth. i cannot remember dickie davies

i wish they would bring back ian darke and glen mcrory. they were really good. darke does a lot of football now. i wonder why mcrory never commentates. nicky piper is a good analyst

Shame the same can't be said of Jim Watt's scoring for the Lynes v Branco fight recently. :-(

Steve's good at what he does , is completely honest with us(unlike most commentators) and is suited to his job .

But the big fights wouldn't suit him , he just seems the perfect guy to get us through boring , and often meaningless fights .

Glen was annoying. He was like a parrot. All he ever did was repeat when Ian already said. Darke knew his stuff but again he was way too biased and over excitable about nothing. He certainly wasnt one of my favoruites but he was far better than Glen. Nicky Piper was very concise and clear but again he was too biased. I think his a member of MENSA.
