    How did everyone score it?
I had it all square after 6 with Brook winning the last 6 by 4-2.
Jim Watt is rubbish. Why not go back to Glenn McCrory? Him and Darke were ok and McCrory still doing sky work

You mean when he was with an ATG commentator who could carry him?

I genuinely think its age he's 66 years old had a very long boxing career at the highest level it's obviously not going to be the sharpest he was these days I think his judgement is all over the place.

Yup he's starting to feel the effects of senility for sure. Stubbornness and close mindedness are not good attributes for a commentator to have either. Time to pack it in...

Sky should have got rid after Froch-Groves2.

Can't believe Johnny Nelson wasn't involved last night.

Watt had porter winning on aggression lmfao even though he never landed, also rarely gave credit for anything kell did

    It was actually ridiculous

I don't have the volume up anymore. As soon as Jim's scorecards popped up I knew I had made the correct choice. He doesn't seem to have a concept of what judges look for anymore. Give Porter the fight because he was the more aggressive? No mate.

I just don't know how he can be so consistently wrong, it's actually impressive.

Its very rare for me to actually say this but i would prefer to hear the American commentary. Kell was landing beautiful 1/2's and caught Porter with his jab every time Poter lunged in windmilling.

as much as i detest Watt i dont think he was too far wrong as backed up by the UK judge....

scoring fights is not an exact science and although he is a gobshite and usually gets it wrong last night was not one of his worst

    Completely agree mate.

The commentary from Showtime here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bWqESHUJPmI was more in line with how I thought the fight was going.

I think it's time we as UK boxing fans politely email Adam Smith of Sky telling him that he needs to sort this out - I will be anyway.

Thing is - I like to learn about boxing and, despite watching for years, I'm still not confident in my own judgement of rounds so I really rely on commentators to educate me. I look on here to learn and gain insight. Therefore, when scoring, (Brook won 2, 3, 6, 8, 9, 10, 11 and maybe 12) I kept doubting myself because of him. I thought he knew more. When they read out the scores I was sure Porter had won and I was being biased towards Kell. Sad, really.
