Jim Watt is a great commentater, brings that fighters dimension to the fight brillaintly

i thought he was good last nigh it was a tough fight to score and he was in the right

    now leave Jim Watt alone

    HE'S A HUMAN BEING

got disagree, any fighter with a brain vcould bring a fighters dimention to the fight. He is a commenter who has limited grasp of words ,and he repeats the same stuff more than any other co commenters i have ever heard across all sports .

Pater, no offence, but you always seem to go against the grain just to make a point. Myself and Beeston have been saying it for months and it finally seems like people are waking up to Watt's terrible commentary. He's hugely negative and also inconsistent; I remember in the Katsidis-Escobedo fight he gave Escobedo a shitload of points for boxing, and his scorecard for that fight was shocking, but last night he felt the need to give Valuev rounds for doing **** allcompared to Haye. Should you get points for landing nothing significant whilst the other guy connects with what he throws? Haye's tactics were spot on. I got the impression that Darke was fed up with Watt in the end as well.

Johnny Nelson has proven yet again that he's a brilliant commentator during this week's FFN and should be given the nod full time as well, IMO. Also nice to see Darke back again!:happy

'Loser'. Whether intentional or not, that was funny. Anywho, in the ring Watt is undoubtedly a legend. That said, it doesn't make him a good commentator, does it? Lewis is a shocking commentator and he is also a British legend.

Purely as a commentator, I think the guy is shocking:good.

I've meet Watt twice and he was freindly and a top bloke both times. I know that does't make him a good commentator but there we go....;O)

no he does not, he consistently ruins the viewing of fights just to serve his own ego and his voice is ridiculous also, the other commentator was much better

It's tough isn't it. I've seen Woodhall score some fights TERRIBLY and he always calls out like we're on the verge of a KO when we're not. Not a big fan in the commentary seat.

    Darke-McCrory always worked for me.
