Jim Watt the worst Commentator in Boxing

That is a classic Jim Twatt line.

 

He could probably still knock **** out of you !

 

Someone on Sky Sports kept complaining that Pascal was only working at the end of the round. I kept telling myself 'hasn't this guy ever heard of the phrase stealing a round?"

Don't know how someone scored the fight for Bute. Just because you play the part of a classical boxer(Bute) in the ring doesn't mean you deserve the win over someone(Pascal) who threw harder punches and made the fight uncomfortable for you.

 

He should take some testosterone infusions, i cant stand his voice

 

I like Watt but I must admit I laughed when at the end of Tzyu\Hatton he said how wonderful it was they could 'have a cuddle' after the fight.
Yeah he uses the same phrases alot but pretty much everybody does that, "Jim, I gotta tell ya something..." He knows the fight game, if he says someone was shaken to their boots then they were.
I started a thread in classic about how I'm pretty sure my Dad knew him personally. It's a shame I hear his commentary so often these days and my Dad's not around to hear it with me...

I wonder if he talks that way because he just wants to be controversial (?). His job is to report what he sees, not to comment on the action. That's the job of his sidekick on those broadcasts. Neither did a particularly good job so I lowered the volume down somewhat and just watched. When HBO posted its score at the end of the match I was stunned. Pascal largely dominated and was rightfully awarded the victory by the judges.

 

His scorecard was just stupid. He probably wasn't paying attention and scored the rounds randomly.

But in his defense, the fight sucked. I mean, I went to the kitchen at least 4 times just to fight boredom.

Totally agree. Watt's quality and injects a ton of passion. The other guy was great too

Jim Watt was told to hype up Bute last night by Sky. Even that **** Tony Bellew done it as well because Sky, Froch and Hearn wanted to make Froch-Bute II, but it backfired on them again as Pascal won it. :happy

 

I didnt hear it last night but he usually isnt too bad. He had it fairly spot on for Froch Groves and for Burns Beltran recently, if I remember correctly.

 

So he has a broken nose. So what? Has this ref never seen a broken nose before?

Pretty funny at times, but **** didnt know where to draw the line. His performance after the JMM Katsidis fight was Disgusting
