Jim Watt- underrated

Sean O'Grady usually gets disparaged in this forum...he gets the Greg Haugen treatment, don'tcha know.....and Jim Watt is usually held in higher esteem and respected...including by me...but if Watt truly needed..and he did btw, a blatantly egregious head butt, and no fair treatment for Sean by the ref...all that Scottish home cooking....then O'Grady must not be as bad as all the experts here seem to think he is..or was.

 

I was a fan of Watt...and I was very impressed with the solid, technically cool and correct outboxing of the superficially flashy, yet favored..Howard Davis. Davis was getting the royal Golden Olympian Boy treatment by the boxing press and was expected due his coronation after outclassing the dour, pedestrian plodder Watt. Well, the pale Scot sure upset the apple cart and did as fine a job of cerebral boxing as you would ever see.
