    Jim Watt apparently said himself it was deliberate, years later admittedly. I would've loved to have believed it wasn't though, like Watt :D

    The O'Grady Kenty fight's a good one to watch. Some vicious body punching from O'Grady. I hadn't been impressed by O'Grady before he fought Watt from what I'd read about him. I thought of him as a protected fighter with a blown up record but I was impressed by him in both fights.

    I'd read years ago now that Kenty's legs were gone in the O'Grady fight, or he'd been sick or something. I did find it odd how he simply backed straight up from O'Grady's attack in that fight, making Sean's night all the easier.

    The only other time I've seen Kenty was against Elizondo, and that was one strange, strange fight.

    Jim Watt ahead on the scorecards after 11 Rounds

    * 109-105 (5-1-5 in Rounds) Jim Watt
    * 108-104 (6-2-3 in Rounds) Jim Watt

    What exactly were the Referee - Raymond Baldyerou and Judge - Harry Gibbs watching.

    * 104-103 (5-4-2 in Rounds) Jim Watt

    Arthur Mercante was right on with his scorecard.

    Got to love Jim Watt though, the man was 'Glasgow Tough'.

    Flea man, i dont want to keep repeating myself mate but for the sake of this thread i think its worth another mention:D

    Cut a long story short, i met reg gutteridge and jim watt getting out of a taxi and walking round to the fights in the Ulster Hall in belfast. I was talking away to Gutteridge the whole way round whilst Watt walked along quietly with his hands in his pocket. Before we went our seperate ways i said to Watt;

    "Jim, can i ask you a question? Did you deliberately use the head against O'Grady?" smiling as i said it.

    His reply was;

    "What the **** would you have done in my position?":lol::lol:

    Fair play to him for his honesty

    ****!!! :patsch Blame it on the :smoke I am so sorry pal :patsch again

    Orriray; often dull but crafty and awkward I guess. So unspectacular IMO. But I guess he has to be applauded for that. Took on bigger guys and overcame a horrible start to his career as well.

    I'm sure I remember him being in one fight I thought was ace, but can't recall which one for now. A notch above Witter for sure.
