Pipe down. I knew Mayweather was faster before they got in the ring, as did most people which is why he was the comfortable favourite and most people picked him to win by UD. He went into the second round and did okay with Mayweathers speed by landing big shots. The reality is that if PBF got into his stride, his speed, defence and movement were always going to be too much for Mosley. That doesn't excuse saying that Mosley is struggling as he climbs through the ropes and PBF is still in his dressing room. Or trying to imply that staggering around the ring and having his legs buckled under a Mosley attack was somehow him doing well.
God, he was annoying me too. Kept going on and on about how great Floyd was. Sure, it was a good performance, but calm down, Jesus.
Mosley landed two very lucky punches in the second. Similar to the punches landed on Joe Calzaghe by Mitchell, Hopkins and Jones. As Mosley was failing miserably for the remainder of that round to follow up the two clean shots he landed (and even being countered by a dazed opponent), it was becoming more and more apparent Mosley couldn't handle the speed. You could argue it was the second round where a semi-conscious Mayweather completely wore down Mosley and caused him to completely gas, that the extent of the mismatch became apparent. Jim Watt was right to be praising Mayweather in that round, I applaud his foresight and commitment to his own beliefs, despite whatever illusions may be unfolding in the ring at that moment. Jim Watt does not do fickle, kneejerk commentary. A lesser commentator would have suddenly decided to give Mosley a chance in that second. But not Jim Watt.
You really believe they were lucky punches? :blood We really need to get the HBO commentary team on sky, they're far better.
Does my head in, i really think it is time for him to go. Very biased again and spent his time talking about how Mayweather respects Mosley and how just being up his arse in general.
Lets face it there isnt a commentator in the world the brit forum wouldn't ***** and moan about if he was doing the big fights.
