Jim Watts's commentary was so biased on Sky....

This guy is clueless. Not to mention he has the world's most annoying voice...

He would ignore Froch's seven jabs then scream everytime Groves threw the overhand right. "Groves this, groves that. Froch's poor/slow" etc etc

Groves was winning the early rounds (only clueless boxing fans would not have expected this anyway) but the way the commentators rode Groves was a joke and massively swayed boxing opinion clearly.

Rewatch the fight with the sound off. Seriously SKY need to drop this fool.

    Yeah, Agree.

But Froch looked awful and it was a robbery. Groves won that fight but the corrupt ref stopped it.

How the **** can you win a fight while being on the robes with 3 and a half rounds to go?

Froch landed next to nothing last night. 90% were getting slipped and caught on groves arms.

Froch jab is probably the worst i've seen in a long time

Groves had froch buzzed numerous times and could land whenever he wanted. He absolutely clowned froch.

Were you even watching the fight? frochs seven slow as **** weak ass jabs that didnt land? Show me a video?

Your a ****ing fool mate...jog on

Everyone knew Froch was getting wobbled throughout the entire fight yet the ref didn't care, but did when Groves got wobbled.

I thought his commentary was pretty good. Hard to give Froch more than 1-2 rounds

Let's not rewrite history here, Froch looked out of his depth all night and the commentary reflected that. Commentary doesn't win you fights anyway, corrupt judges and refs do and Froch has benefited from both in the Dirrell fight and now again v Groves.

Froch is utter ****, him and his fans should stfu with all this warrior talk and admit that he is damn lucky to still have those belts.

Froch was getting hit not wobbled.

Did you see him up against the ropes with jelly legs utterly exhausted while Groves threw punches at will?

Clearly you aren't a boxing fan.....

Groves clearly was the better of the 2, but Watt was all over the place.
When Groves took a big right hand and landed against the ropes Watt just ignored it and after the replay between rounds called it an illegal punch (landed high on the side). While Groves turned his head just before impact.

It surely wasn't as onesided as Watt made it out to be. Froch got hurt a lot, but he did hurt Groves back a number of times and Watt just ignored or belittled every succes Froch had.
He was right that there should have been a point deduction after the blatant elbow though.

Bottom line, the referee sucked even more as Jim Watt last night.

The ref stopped it too early but Froch's legs were never as wobbly as Groves' were at the end there. I think Froch would have finished him anyway but groves certainly should have been given more time.

Nobody disputes he was winning but I think he was coming to the end of his tether there and Froch was coming on strong as he usually does.

    Watt's a great commentator

Never really noticed him tonight, but he was part of what made the first Coralles Castillo match - UN - BA - LEE - VABO
